Ford E-350 and E-450 Power Steering Hydraulic Defect Recall
Ford is recalling certain 2021-2022 E-350 and E-450 vehicles with dual rear wheels due to inadequate power steering line connections. This defect may cause sudden loss of power steering fluid, resulting in loss of steering and brake assist.

A sudden loss of power steering fluid can cause a loss of power steering and power brake assist, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash. Approximately 44,219 vehicles are affected.
Owners were notified by letter beginning March 18, 2022. Dealers will inspect the connection between the power steering lines and Hydroboost unit, and replace the power steering lines as necessary, free of charge. Owners should contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 to schedule service.
