Roadtrek Recreational Vehicles Recalled for Unattached Propane Lines
Roadtrek is recalling certain 2021-2022 recreational vehicles because the propane line may not be attached to the water heater. An unattached propane line can allow gas to enter the vehicle, increasing the risk of a fire.
What this means for you
Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.
Our severity reasoning: This is a fire-risk defect in a recreational vehicle with no reported injuries or deaths. Per the severity rubric, a risk-of-harm product where injury has not yet been reported receives a High (3) rating. The unattached propane line creates a serious potential hazard, but the absence of reported incidents limits the classification.
