Keystone Cougar RV Trailers: Incorrectly Wired Inverter Creates Electrical Hazard

Keystone RV Company is recalling certain 2020-2021 Cougar trailers equipped with the Off the Grid (OTG) Solar package. In these units, the inverter may have been incorrectly wired, which can cause power to energize the shore power connection.
When the inverter is turned on, an energized shore power connection creates a risk of electrical shock or injury. No injuries have been reported.
Approximately 1,278 units are affected. Owners should contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369 or reference Keystone's recall number 20-389. Keystone dealers will test the inverter and rewire it as needed at no cost. The recall began November 18, 2020.
