This recall affects vehicles equipped with an optional auxiliary outlet powered by the ignition and accessory power circuits. A total of 5,423 vehicles are affected by this safety recall.

An electrical overload on the auxiliary circuit may cause the ignition fuse to open, resulting in the engine shutting down. If the engine shuts down without the ability to restart, it increases the risk of a crash.

DTNA has notified owners, and dealers will modify the wiring to prevent the power port from affecting the ignition circuit, free of charge.
