E-One Emergency Vehicles Recalled for Electrical Fire Risk

The defect involves electrical connections at the transfer switch that may loosen and cause excessive heat. This excessive heat can increase the risk of a fire.
E-One will notify owners, and dealers will replace the IOTA transfer switch with a Powermax switch, free of charge. The recall began on February 19, 2018. Owners may contact E-One customer service at 1-352-861-3612 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
