Prevost Cars, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2007-2012 XLII, X3-45, H3-41, H3-45, and H3-45 VIP vehicles manufactured between July 5, 2007, and May 11, 2012. The recall affects 455 vehicles in total.
The affected vehicles may be missing a fuel line locating clip. This defect allows the fuel line to rub against the braided coolant hose. The resulting abrasion may cause a fuel leak, which increases the risk of a fire.
Prevost will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the fuel line for abrasion, replace it as necessary, and properly secure the fuel line and coolant line free of charge.
