Harley-Davidson Recalls 2012 Dyna and Softail Motorcycles for Brake Master Cylinder Defect

The recall addresses a defect where the threads for the brake line banjo bolt in the front brake master cylinder may corrode. If this corrosion occurs, it could result in a sudden loss of brake fluid, causing a loss of the front brakes and increasing the risk of a crash.

Harley-Davidson will notify owners, and dealers will flush and inspect the front brake master cylinder and, if necessary, replace it free of charge.
