The defect involves the possibility of removing the key from the lock in a manner that jams the deadbolt. If the deadbolt jams, the interior side of the door lock may also jam. This could prevent a person inside the trailer from exiting the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury.

Keyline Sales will notify the manufacturers that purchased the affected doors. Fastec will coordinate the inspection and replacement of the lock cylinders, as needed, free of charge.
