Eagan Manufacturing, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2006-2013 doors manufactured between January 2006 and April 2013. These doors are equipped with Fastec-brand door locks. The recall covers 4,761 units.

The defect involves the possibility of removing the key from the lock in a way that jams the deadbolt. If the deadbolt jams, the interior side of the door lock may also jam. This could leave a person inside the trailer locked in and unable to exit without using the emergency exit, increasing the risk of injury.

Eagan will notify the manufacturers that purchased the affected doors. Fastec will coordinate the inspection and replacement of the lock cylinders, as needed, free of charge.
