These vehicles are equipped with a MaxxForce 7 engine. The recall involves a defect in the fuel system where a cap on the return fuel valve may fall off.

If the cap falls off, air may be drawn into the fuel system. This can result in the engine having difficulty starting, failing to start, or stalling while driving. An engine stall on the roadway increases the risk of a vehicle crash.
