These vehicles were manufactured between August 2004 and October 2008 and are equipped with the MSQR 5000 differential pressure regulator/quick release valve device manufactured by Air Brake Systems.

The recall is issued because the MSQR 5000 device does not contain the requisite warning light required by Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 121, "Air Brake Systems." The standard requires a light to warn the operator of an anti-lock braking system (ABS) malfunction. The device also does not meet the definition of an ABS as required by the standard. Pitts has received no complaints or reports of on-road failures associated with this noncompliance.
