The specific date code is stamped on a small white sticker on the bottom of the coffeemaker and begins with "05199" or "5199." These units were sold at department and hardware stores nationwide from May 1997 through June 1997 for approximately $100.

CPSC and Bunn-O-Matic are not aware of any injuries involving these coffeemakers. Consumers should stop using these specific units immediately. To obtain a full refund or a free replacement, consumers should call Bunn-O-Matic at (800) 352-2866 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CDT, Monday through Friday. Other model Bunn coffeemakers and B-8B or B-8W units with different date codes are not involved in this recall.
