The recalled toys are 12 inches high, feature Santa Claus hats, and contain battery-powered voiceboxes that play "Jingle Bells" with animal sounds. The Jingle Bell Cat is white with a plaid bow, while the Jingle Bell Dog is tan and white with a green bow. Both toys were imported from Taiwan and sold nationwide to retail toy and gift stores between October 11, 1991, and November 15, 1991, at a retail price of $29.99 each.

Neither the CPSC nor the company is aware of any injuries involving these products. Consumers are urged to take the toys away from young children immediately and return them to the store where purchased for a full refund.
