The recall is being conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

The toys are being recalled because they failed use and abuse testing conducted by the CPSC, posing a potential fatal choking hazard for young children due to small parts. Approximately 2,454 affected units were sold. The potentially hazardous toys were identified during an inspection of the firm conducted as a result of previous violations. Neither the CPSC nor the company is aware of any injuries involving these toy phones.
