These toys were sold throughout the United States from 1988 through July 1990. The Hippo Counter and Angel Doll were imported from Taiwan and China, respectively, while the Pull-Along Activity Loco and Tell By Touch were imported from Hong Kong and Thailand. The recall affects only Tell By Touch toys with cylinders featuring red painted sides that were purchased before January 1, 1990.

Neither the CPSC nor U.S. Toy Company is aware of any injuries caused by these toys. Consumers are urged to take these toys away from young children and return them to the store where purchased for an exchange or gift certificate.
