The recalled product is a baby doll approximately six inches in height, packaged in a clear carrying case with a smaller doll and a bottle, identified as Item No. 2065PVC. While the arms on both dolls are moveable, the arms on the smaller doll can detach and become hazardous.

Approximately 960 of these dolls were sold in the New York City area between October 1988 and December 1988 for approximately $1.99 each. Neither the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission nor American International is aware of any injuries associated with these dolls. The potentially hazardous toys were identified by U.S. Customs at the Port of Newark during "Operation Toyland," a joint surveillance program conducted with the CPSC.
