The affected products include Baby Alice, Baby Linda, Comfy Karen, Fun Time Baby Bottle, Nursing Bottles, Princess Telephone Toys, Work Trucks, and Car Transport Vehicle toys.

The toys are being recalled because they fail small parts requirements. Specific components, such as doll arms, bottle nipples, telephone dials, and truck axles and wheels, detach easily. These small parts pose a fatal choking hazard to young children. Approximately 88,752 units were sold in retail stores nationwide between January 1, 1989, and March 31, 1990, at prices ranging from $0.59 to $2.00 each.

Neither the CPSC nor the company is aware of any injuries involving these products. The recall is being conducted to prevent the possibility of injury. Consumers are urged to take these toys away from young children immediately and return them to the store where purchased for a refund of the purchase price. Consumers with questions may contact E.
