The potentially hazardous toys were identified at the Port of Chicago during a joint CPSC/U.S. Customs Service surveillance program. The toys are stuffed animals that stand 7-1/2 inches tall and are eight inches long. The body is either blue or pink cloth with white polka dots, featuring two black beads for eyes. The toys contain a music box that plays "It's A Small World" when a wind-up key is activated. The label underneath the rockers reads "All New Materials, Filled with Polyester Fiber, Made in China." The plastic packaging is labeled with the item designation "RHM-BLU" or "RHM-PNK."

The toys were imported by LTD Commodities, Inc., and shipped nationwide from September 2, 1990, to September 27, 1990, for $6.95 each through mail order. Neither the CPSC nor the company is aware of any injuries involving this product. Consumers are urged to take the toy away from young children immediately and return it to LTD Commodities, Inc., 2800 Lakeside Drive, Bannockburn, IL 60015, for a refund of the purchase price.
