Neither CPSC nor Monterey has received reports of any injuries to consumers resulting from this potential defect. The design of the INF-920 has since been improved to eliminate this condition.

Consumers should check if the store where they purchased the pacifier has a recall notice posted. If a notice is posted, the unit may have the potential problem and should be returned to that store for a free replacement. If no notice is posted, consumers may return the pacifier by mail to Monterey at P.O. Box 15129, Las Vegas, Nevada 89114. Monterey will pay the postage and provide a replacement pacifier and two free nipples.
