YOLAAH Portable Bed Rails (model BR-01) are being recalled. The bed rails measure 15.8 inches tall by 26.8 inches wide and feature a black rubber hand grip, storage pocket, and white metal base.

The bed rails violate the mandatory safety standard for adult portable bed rails. When attached to a bed, they create an entrapment hazard: users can become trapped within the bed rail or between the bed rail and the mattress side, posing a serious risk of death by asphyxiation. Additionally, the bed rails do not bear the required hazard warning labels.

Approximately 14,250 units were sold online through Amazon.com between September 2025 and October 2025 for about $35. The distributor is Guangzhou Aowei Technology Co., Ltd. (doing business as Yolaah), based in China.

Consumers should immediately stop using the bed rails and contact YOLAAH for a refund by emailing [email protected]. Before disposal, cut off the black fabric mesh bag and black safety strap using scissors, then use a permanent marker to write "RECALLED" on both the upper and lower rails. Take a photo of the marked rails and email it to [email protected]. Dispose of the product according to local waste disposal procedures.
