Baby loungers recalled for infant sleep violations and banned crib bumpers
About 360 LXDHSTRA baby loungers are recalled because they violate the mandatory Infant Sleep Products standard and are supplied with padded crib bumpers banned by the Safe Sleep for Babies Act.
What this means for you
Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.
Our severity reasoning: Rubric level 3 covers risk-of-harm products where injury has not yet been reported; the notice describes suffocation, fall and entrapment hazards with no incidents reported.
Plain-English summary
This recall involves LXDHSTRA-branded baby loungers with a foam sleeping pad, padded bumpers and a cloth cover, sold in tan star, big elephant, green elephant, gray feather and gray rainbow prints. Each came with a red and black padded crib bumper printed with letters A through F on one side and animal characters on the other. About 360 were sold on Amazon from May 2025 through August 2025 for between $30 and $34.
The loungers violate the mandatory standard for Infant Sleep Products: the sides are too low to contain an infant, the sleeping pad is too thick and poses a suffocation hazard, and the enclosed openings at the foot are wider than allowed, posing fall and entrapment hazards. The loungers also have no stand, posing a fall hazard if used on elevated surfaces. The CPSC states these violations create an unsafe sleeping environment that can cause death or serious injury to infants. In addition, the padded crib bumpers supplied with them are banned by the Federal Safe Sleep for Babies Act because they can obstruct breathing. No incidents have been reported.
Owners should immediately stop using the loungers and crib bumpers and contact LXDHSTRA for a full refund, removing the foam and pads from the cover and cutting the cover, foam, pad and crib bumper in half before emailing photos of the destroyed items.
