Baby loungers recalled for violating the mandatory infant sleep products standard

About 23,000 URMYWO baby loungers in the grey feather style are recalled because they violate the mandatory standard for Infant Sleep Products, posing suffocation, fall and entrapment hazards.

What this means for you

Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Our severity reasoning: Rubric level 3 covers risk-of-harm products where injury has not yet been reported; the notice describes suffocation, fall and entrapment hazards with no incidents reported.

Plain-English summary

This recall involves URMYWO baby loungers in the style "grey feather", made of a gray cloth cover printed with feathers, with a foam sleeping pad and padded bumpers. "URMYWO" and "Model No: UMCZC01AE" are printed on labels on the side of the lounger. About 23,000 were sold on Amazon from January 2024 through April 2025 for between $30 and $50.

The loungers violate the mandatory standard for Infant Sleep Products: the sides are shorter than the minimum side height limit needed to secure the infant, the sleeping pad's thickness exceeds the maximum limit and poses a suffocation hazard, and an infant could fall out of an enclosed opening at the foot of the lounger or become entrapped. The portable loungers have no stand, posing a fall hazard. The CPSC states these violations create an unsafe sleeping environment for infants, posing a risk of serious injury or death. No incidents have been reported.

Owners should stop using the loungers immediately and contact Pomona for a full refund. Consumers are asked to remove the sleeping pad, cut up the sides of the lounger and the pad, and email a photo of the destroyed lounger to [email protected] to obtain the refund.
