GoveeLife and Govee Smart Electric Space Heaters (Models H7130, H7131, H7132, H7133, H7134, and H7135) are subject to recall. These heaters were sold online through Amazon, Govee.com, the Govee Home App, and TikTok Shop from September 2021 through September 2024 for $30 to $150.

The heaters can overheat and pose fire and burn hazards. Testing found the heaters do not comply with the voluntary industry safety standard UL 1278, creating a risk of overheating and fire from their wireless control features.

Approximately 512,500 units are affected (with an additional 48,600 units in Canada). The manufacturer has received 113 reports of overheating, including 7 reports of fires and 1 report of a minor burn injury.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled heaters and contact GoveeLife or Govee for a refund. Instructions include unplugging the unit, cutting the power cord, and submitting an image to https://recall.goveelife.com/heater-recall.
