The mattresses fail multiple safety provisions, including the thickness test requirement, and lack required warnings and labels.
The recalled mattresses pose a suffocation hazard to infants. Approximately 1,900 units were sold exclusively on Amazon.com from May 2023 through August 2023 for approximately $36 each. The product was imported and distributed by Forias Direct, of China.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mattresses and discard them by cutting them in half. To receive a full refund, consumers must send a photo of the destroyed mattress to [email protected]. Amazon and Forias Direct are contacting all known purchasers directly. No injuries have been reported.
