The recalled product contains sodium hydroxide, which federal law requires to be packaged in child-resistant containers under the Poison Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA). The packaging of these products does not meet child-resistant standards, creating a risk of chemical burns and skin and eye irritation if accessed by children. Additionally, the product label violates the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA) by omitting mandatory hazard information.

No injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately store the recalled products in a safe location out of sight and reach of children.
