The affected units are white, measure about six inches tall and three inches wide, and sit on a white cylinder base. The Bellman & Symfon logo is printed on the front. The recall includes specific serial numbers printed on the body of the unit under the battery cover. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
Consumers should immediately contact Bellman & Symfon to receive a free repair. The company advises consumers to continue using the units until the repair is received but to unplug and re-plug them in the meantime to keep them properly powered. The devices were sold online at HarrisComm.com from June 2016 through March 2020 for about $185.
