Skip Hop, Inc. is recalling approximately 7,900 Tuo convertible high chairs in the United States and 2,000 in Canada. The recall involves charcoal-colored chairs with style numbers 304200 and 304200CN and specific date codes found on the back of the chair. The chairs were sold at retailers including Babies "R" Us, Buy Buy Baby, Target, Kohl's, Dillard's, and online at Amazon.com and Skiphop.com from December 2016 through September 2017 for about $160.
The front legs on the high chairs can detach from the seat, posing a fall and injury hazard to children. Skip Hop has received 59 reports of the legs detaching, including eight reported injuries that resulted in lip cuts and bruises to children.
