Flos Inc. is recalling approximately 2,900 Skygarden halogen pendant light fixtures, models S1 and S2. The recall is due to a risk that the dome on the light fixture can detach and fall unexpectedly, posing a risk of injury from impact. The fixtures are made of glass, gypsum, and steel, featuring a gold, brown, black, or white dome with a white plaster interior. Model S1 domes measure about 24 inches in diameter, while model S2 domes measure about 35 inches in diameter.

The affected light fixtures were sold at Design Within Reach, Flos Project Sales, Lumens, and other lighting stores, as well as online at Flos.com and ylighting.com, from January 2008 through July 2016. The fixtures were sold for between $2,500 and $4,400. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

Consumers should prevent people from going into the immediate area under the fixtures until they are repaired.
