The affected bulbs were sold at Home Depot stores, professional distributors nationwide, and online at Amazon.com from November 2013 through March 2015 for about $10. Philips has received 13 reports of the lens shattering, including five reports of property damage totaling about $700 and two laceration injuries. The bulbs were manufactured by Firstech Lighting Corporation in Shenzhen, China.
Consumers should immediately stop using these recalled bulbs and remove them from any fixtures.
