The firm has received 62 reports of incidents in which the aluminum wand disconnected from the vacuum cleaner's handle, but no injuries have been reported. About 142,000 units were sold in the United States and about 650 in Canada between August 2014 and March 2015 for between $250 and $350. The recalled units are maroon or purple, measure about 45 inches tall by 12 inches wide, and have date codes beginning with the number 48 or lower and ending with 14.
