The TVs were manufactured in China. Haier America and the CPSC have received 184 reports of the stand's neck cracking or breaking, but no injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately stop using the TV and detach it from the stand, keeping both items in a safe location. They should contact Haier America to request a free replacement stand neck to be used with the original base. Consumers with wall-mounted TVs may continue to use them but should also request a free replacement stand neck in case the TV is used with the stand in the future.
