The product was distributed by Caramia Furniture and Mother Hubbard's Cupboards, both located in Ontario, Canada, and manufactured in Slovenia.

The recall is due to a hazard where the slats on the crib's drop-side can detach from the top and bottom rails. This defect poses fall and entrapment hazards to children. The firm has received 18 reports of slats detaching from the rails, but no injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Diana crib. They should contact Caramia Furniture to receive a free replacement drop side, which will be available beginning in March 2010.
