These items were sold to bowling center operators from September 1995 through May 2004 and were not sold to the general public.

The recall is due to a hazard where the down shaft on the seat plate assembly can fracture. This failure can cause an occupant of the seat to fall. Brunswick has received reports of 20 incidents where the seat plate assembly failed, resulting in three injuries from falling.
