Plain-English summary

Brunswick Bowling & Billiards Corp. is recalling approximately 1,700 sets of "Colonial" model folding wooden game chairs. The chairs were sold in sets of two with black seat cushions and either a cherry or chestnut finish. They were sold by authorized Brunswick dealers nationwide from March 2007 through March 2008 for about $400 per set. The chairs were manufactured in China.

The recall is due to a fall hazard. The retaining washers on the chair legs can loosen, causing the chair to become unstable. Brunswick has received four reports of loose chair leg hardware, but no injuries have been reported.
