The TGL and TGR series fixtures are not included in this recall as they utilize a different mounting mechanism.

The recall was initiated after Acuity Lighting Group received 10 reports of fixtures falling. The hazard exists because two nuts in the mounting mechanism were not attached, which could cause the fixture to detach and fall, potentially hitting consumers. No injuries have been reported in connection with these incidents.

The recalled fixtures were sold through electrical and lighting supply distributors between November 2004 and February 2006 for approximately $190. Facility managers and business owners are being contacted by Acuity Lighting Group to schedule an inspection and repair.
