The "Lexar" brand is embossed on the front of the plastic housing, and the capacity is marked on the back.

The FireFly drives were sold at discount department, office supply, and electronics stores, as well as by web retailers including www.lexar.com, between April and May 2006 for between $30 and $110. The Secure II 1GB drive was sold exclusively at Fry's Electronics in May 2006 for about $80. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled devices and contact Lexar at (800) 248-2798 or visit www.lexar.com to receive a free replacement product.
