Small World Toys, of Culver City, Calif., is recalling specific toy vehicles sold under the IQ Baby and Discovery Channel brands. The recall covers vehicles included in the IQ Baby Pillow Soft Activity Blocks, IQ Baby Travelin' Train Blocks, IQ Baby Vroom Vroom Vehicles, and Discovery Channel Vroom Vroom Vehicles. The affected products were sold at toy stores, various retailers nationwide, through catalogues, and at Discovery Channel stores and online between January 2003 and May 2006.
The recall is due to a choking hazard. The plastic wheels on the toys can detach, posing a risk to young children. Small World Toys has received 11 reports of incidents in which a wheel detached from one of these toys, but no injuries have been reported.
