International Playthings Inc. is recalling approximately 126,000 Viking Mini Chubbies toy vehicles. The recalled products include toy wagons, tractors, helicopters, cars, airplanes, and jeeps that measure about 3 inches long. These toys were sold in red, blue, and yellow, and the specific model numbers AW01119, AW41111, AW61005, and AW81119 are printed on the bottom of the items.
The recall was issued because small parts on the vehicles can detach, which poses a choking hazard to young children. International Playthings has received one report of small parts detaching, but no injuries have been reported. The toys were manufactured in Thailand and sold at specialty toy stores nationwide from April 2002 through March 2003 for about $1 each.
