This can cause the hose to wear against the inner wheel or shock absorber spring seat, leading to a brake fluid leak and a complete loss of front braking capacity. This condition can increase braking distance and result in a collision with bystanders, fixed objects, or other vehicles, potentially causing serious injury or death. No injuries or deaths have been reported in connection with this defect.
