This malfunction may prevent consumers from receiving some National Weather Service notices advising of severe weather threats, potentially putting lives and property at risk. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
Consumers should immediately return the recalled radio to the store where it was purchased to receive a new model 74-200 radio that has been programmed correctly. Alternatively, consumers can return the radio directly to Midland Consumer Radio at 1670 North Topping Ave., Kansas City, MO 64120 for replacement.
