NHTSA recalls of passenger vehicles, motorcycles, tires, and child seats.
Vehicle recalls in our database all come from NHTSA. They cover passenger cars, light trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, tires, child safety seats, and motor-vehicle equipment. Each campaign is identified by an NHTSA Campaign Number (a string like 25V123000) and lists every make / model / year combination affected. We carry the full vehicle range so you can search by your own car.
The most common vehicle-recall categories are airbag and seatbelt failures (the consequence is non-deployment in a crash), fuel system defects with fire risk, steering or brake malfunctions, electrical defects in EVs that can cause battery thermal events, software bugs in driver-assist systems, and child-seat harness failures. Recalls for tires almost always relate to a tread-separation risk in a defined production date range.
Every NHTSA recall is mandatory for the manufacturer to remedy at no charge to the owner, with no expiration. If your vehicle has an open recall, your dealer is required to perform the remedy free of charge as long as the vehicle exists. If you're not sure whether your vehicle is affected, the VIN lookup decodes your specific vehicle and cross-references the NHTSA database directly.

Mercedes-Benz is recalling 2025 E 350, E 350 4MATIC, E 450 4MATIC, and E 450 4MATIC station wagon vehicles due to an improperly welded camber strut bracket on the rear axle carrier that may separate and cause loss of vehicle handling and control.
Polestar is recalling certain 2024 Polestar 2 vehicles because clamps on the driver's side air bag module may be improperly crimped, causing the air bag to deploy improperly and reducing crash protection.
General Motors is recalling certain 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV work trucks because the pedestrian alert sound system may not produce sound at sufficient volume. This increases the risk of pedestrians being unaware of an approaching vehicle.
Polestar is recalling certain 2025 Polestar 3 hybrid electric vehicles due to potential damage to the High to Low Voltage Converter Module, which may cause sudden loss of drive power and increase crash risk.
Tesla is recalling certain 2017–2025 Model 3, 2020–2025 Model Y, and 2024 Cybertruck vehicles because the tire pressure monitoring system warning light may not remain illuminated between drive cycles, failing to warn drivers of low tire pressure.
VinFast is recalling 2023–2025 VF8 vehicles because the center air bag in the driver's seat may deploy improperly during a side impact crash and strike the driver's arm, increasing injury risk.
Daimler Vans USA is recalling 2019-2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles. The instrument cluster illumination may be too bright and non-adjustable, making it difficult for drivers to see critical safety information and increasing crash risk.
Chrysler is recalling 631 units of the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L due to unsecured radiator crossmember bolts that may cause improper airbag deployment and fuel leaks during crashes, increasing injury and fire risks.
General Motors is recalling 7,606 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV vehicles due to incorrect pedestrian alert sound software that fails to produce sufficient volume. This violates federal safety standards and may increase the risk of pedestrian injury.
Grand Design is recalling 2023-2025 Momentum fifth wheel trailers because the interior step base may not adequately support the step tread, which could detach and cause trip and fall injuries. Dealers will replace the step components free of charge.
Chrysler is recalling 2021-2023 Jeep Renegade vehicles with incorrect bumper reverse light assemblies that may reduce backing visibility. The faulty lights could fail to alert other drivers and pedestrians, increasing crash risk.
PACCAR is recalling 2021-2025 Kenworth and Peterbilt commercial trucks with defective electronic control units that may fail due to electrical interference, potentially disabling critical safety systems including ABS, traction control, and electronic stability control.
Polaris is recalling about 21,000 RZR XP 1000 and XP 4 1000 recreational off-road vehicles because the battery terminal cover can be damaged by the seat base, exposing the battery post and creating a fire hazard. No injuries have been reported.
BMW is recalling certain 2025 X3 vehicles due to a potential defect in the front suspension bearing. The bearing may crack, causing loss of vehicle handling and control, increasing crash risk.
Polaris recalled about 2,500 Model Year 2024 Ranger and Bobcat vehicles with a defective passenger side seat belt anchor weld. Consumers should immediately stop carrying passengers and contact an authorized dealer for free repair.
