Plain-English summary

International Motors, LLC is recalling certain 2023-2027 IC Bus CESB and 2025-2027 IC Bus EVSB school buses due to a structural defect in body panel joints. Approximately 2,874 vehicles are affected.

The body panel joints may have been attached without sufficient epoxy coverage, failing to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 221 requirements for school bus body joint strength. The improperly attached panels may separate during a crash, reducing structural integrity and increasing the risk of injury to occupants.
