Altec truck certification labels show incorrect low tire pressure rating

Altec is recalling certain 2023-2026 Service Body, Aerial Device, Pressure Digger, Spray Truck and Digger Derrick vehicles because the low tire pressure rating printed on the final stage certification label is incorrect.

What this means for you

Minor labeling or packaging issue, or a voluntary precautionary recall. Risk of harm is low but real — follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Our severity reasoning: Rubric level 2 covers minor labelling errors: no part of the vehicle is defective and the fault is an incorrect figure on the certification label, remedied by replacing the label.

Plain-English summary

Altec Industries, Inc. is recalling certain 2023-2026 Service Body, Aerial Device, Pressure Digger, Spray Truck and Digger Derrick vehicles. About 10,875 units are potentially affected.
