Ember travel trailer certification labels may list incorrect weight information

Ember is recalling certain 2026 E-Series and Overland Series travel trailers because the Federal Certification Label may list incorrect unloaded vehicle weight and cargo carrying capacity information.

What this means for you

Minor labeling or packaging issue, or a voluntary precautionary recall. Risk of harm is low but real — follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Our severity reasoning: Rubric level 2 covers minor labelling errors: no part of the trailer is defective and the fault is incorrect figures on the certification label, remedied by mailing corrected labels.

Plain-English summary

Ember Recreational Vehicles, Inc. is recalling certain 2026 E-Series and Overland Series travel trailers. About 317 units are potentially affected.

The incorrect Unloaded Vehicle Weight and Cargo Carrying Capacity information may be listed on the Federal Certification Label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification".

NHTSA states that incorrect weight information may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Ember will mail corrected labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on February 18, 2026. Owners may contact Ember customer service at 1-844-732-4204, or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
