Ember Recalls 2027 Travel Trailers Due to Incorrect VIN Labels

Ember is recalling 2027 E-Series, Touring, and Overland travel trailers because the Federal Certification Label may list the wrong VIN, which could prevent owners from recognizing safety recalls.

What this means for you

Cosmetic or documentation issue. No expected health impact, but the manufacturer is correcting the affected products.

Our severity reasoning: This is a documentation and labeling issue where the defect is an incorrect VIN on a label. There are no reported injuries or deaths, and the hazard is theoretical, fitting the criteria for a Low severity recall.

Plain-English summary

Ember Recreational Vehicles, INC. is recalling certain 2027 model year Overland Series, E-Series, and Touring Series travel trailers. The recall is issued because the Federal Certification Label on these vehicles may display an incorrect Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). This defect causes the vehicles to fail to comply with the certification requirements of 49 CFR Part 567.

An incorrect VIN on the label can make it difficult for owners to recognize that their vehicle is involved in a safety recall. This lack of visibility increases the risk of crash or injury if a future safety issue is not identified by the owner.

Dealers will replace the labels free of charge, and Ember will also mail replacement labels directly to owners. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on August 3, 2026. Owners may contact Ember customer service at 1-844-732-4204 for more information.
