Isuzu Motors Limited is recalling certain 2018-2026 Isuzu FTR, 2022-2026 Isuzu FVR, 2018-2026 Chevrolet 6500XD, and 2023-2026 Chevrolet 7500XD trucks. The axle stabilizer bracket bolts may crack and break, allowing the bracket to detach from the vehicle.

A detached axle stabilizer bracket can create a road hazard for other vehicles on the road, increasing the risk of a crash.

Affected owners received notification letters on the following dates: Chevrolet 6500XD and Isuzu FTR owners on December 12, 2025; Isuzu FVR owners on April 24, 2026; and Chevrolet 7500XD owners on May 11, 2026. A total of 17,084 vehicles are affected.

Dealers will replace the stabilizer bar brackets free of charge as part of a phased recall campaign. Owners can contact Isuzu customer service at 1-866-441-9638 for more information.
