Jeep Wagoneer door trim may detach, creating road hazard

Chrysler is recalling certain 2022–2025 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer vehicles because door trim on driver and passenger doors may not be properly installed and can detach. Detached trim pieces can create a road hazard for other vehicles.

What this means for you

Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Our severity reasoning: This is a risk-of-harm vehicle defect where the hazard (exterior trim detachment creating crash risk) is theoretical. No deaths, injuries, or property-damage incidents are reported in the source material, placing this at severity level 3 per the rubric.
