2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer Seat Locking Defect
Chrysler is recalling 2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer vehicles because the rear center-seat recliner strap may prevent the seat back from locking into the upright position. This defect increases crash injury risk and violates Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 207.

A seat back that is not locked into position can increase the risk of injury in a crash. The recall affects approximately 793 vehicles. Owner notification letters were mailed on December 23, 2021.
