Porsche suspension strut retaining ring can loosen dislodging the strut

Porsche is recalling certain 2025 Panamera, Panamera E-Hybrid and Taycan vehicles because a retaining ring on top of the suspension strut may come loose, dislodging the strut and losing air from the spring.

What this means for you

Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.

Our severity reasoning: Rubric level 4 covers structural vehicle defects: a dislodged suspension strut is a structural failure, and the source states it can cause a loss of vehicle handling and control.
