Plain-English summary
Porsche Cars North America is recalling certain 2021 Porsche Taycan models, including the Taycan 4S, Taycan Turbo S, Taycan 4 Cross Turismo, and Taycan 4S Cross Turismo. Approximately 28 vehicles are affected.
A retaining ring on top of the suspension strut may come loose, causing the strut to become dislodged and resulting in air loss from the strut spring. When the air suspension strut fails in this manner, vehicle handling and control can be lost, increasing the risk of a crash.
Porsche dealers will inspect the suspension strut and replace it if necessary at no charge. Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed on February 10, 2023. Owners can contact Porsche's customer service at 1-800-767-7243 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) for more information. The recall number is ANB8.
